Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The New York Times Sunday crossword has been a beloved fixture for sixty years, and Volume 29 of the series introduces a range of inspired new features to tempt solvers, including an introduction by crossword legend Will Shortz and six special giant-size puzzles originally published by the Times in 1999 to celebrate the end of the millennium, each of which features two sets of clues: hard and easy. It's a gigantic book in every way possible!

4 out of 5 stars NY Times Crossword   September 19, 2009

Love the spiral bound format that allows the puzzle pages to lie flat; wish the quality of the paper was a little better. Pencil smudges and ink bleeds through.

5 out of 5 stars Nice spiral-bound book containing NY Times Xwords   July 17, 2008
bubbie (arizona)
I love this spiral-bound book. I was a little apprehensive that someone may have started some puzzles, but no. Book was brand new at 5 yrs. old. Frankly, I'd rather have my puzzles in a book, than to have newsprint all over me. Ok, so shipping ups the ante quite a bit, but on this, I'm willing to splurge occasionally.

While some of the authors create quite difficult puzzles, most of these are enjoyable and challenging. Solving them is a great way to start the day or to end the day.
